Short description
of the proposed topic:
The construction of
hydraulic engineering is
closely linked to marine
engineering research.
Hydraulic equipment
plays a vital role in
ensuring the safe
transportation of oil,
gas, mineral resources,
and enhancing marine
resource extraction and
ocean energy
utilization. Therefore,
the conference has
invited distinguished
young scholars in the
field of hydraulic
engineering to deliver
keynote and invited
session reports.
Additionally, it will
facilitate
interdisciplinary
discussions among
experts on topics
intersecting with marine
engineering.
Novelty and motivation:
Hydraulic Engineering and Hydraulic machinery include water turbines, pumps, and valves, serving as critical infrastructure for safeguarding water resource security and optimizing water allocation. Hydraulic engineering is closely related to marine engineering fields such as coastal and estuarine management, marine resource development, and environmental and ecological engineering. To foster interdisciplinary academic exchange between hydraulic and marine engineering, the Special Session on Hydraulic Engineering and Hydraulic Machinery is established, aiming to strengthen academic collaboration and share the latest research achievements among scholars.
