Call for Special Sessions | 特殊场次征稿

ICCOE 2023 will provide a forum for academics, university researchers and industry experts in Coastal and Ocean Engineering to share ideas and experiences, and discuss innovations. The proposals for special session within the technical scope of the conference are greatly encouraged. It ensurely makes it a very good form to enhance the academic communication.

All the papers in the special sessions will be evaluated and peer-reviewed as per the same criteria of the regular papers. Special Session 1 Information

Tentative Title: “Advances and trends in sustainable coastal zone management and research”

Short Description of the Proposed Topic

Coasts are being heavily exploited by humans. Understanding coastal processes is an essential component that allows us to manage the coasts sustainably. Recent research has shown that new developments and trends have changed. Hard engineering approach has become greener. More effective coastal management schemes have been proposed. New and advanced coastal survey equipments have been utilized in coastal surveys. Sophisticated remote sensing techniques have been applied. This special session hopes to promote this topic and exchange recent knowledge.

Novelty and Motivation

The title of the ICCOE is “engineering”. Many participants who are experts in coastal research may not want to attend. The special session is a mixture of coastal engineering, coastal research, and coastal management. It can broaden the scope of the conference.
